Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sydney Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mathias Meirelles in the 6th minute of play. When Germano Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Pierrot Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Garcia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germano Garcia in the 16th minute of play forced Catole's goalkeeper Ulysses Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Meirelles in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Mandrak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute, Mathias Meirelles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catole fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sydney Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeu de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Meirelles in the 43rd minute of play forced Pierrot Calcio's goalkeeper Sydney Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Catole's goalkeeper Ulysses Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauro do Nascimento. Tadeu de Sousa's late challenge caught a Pierrot Calcio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeu de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Catole getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Tadeu de Sousa hit a great ball. After the first half Catole were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Sydney Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Meirelles in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Pierrot Calcio getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Simão Dantas hit a great ball. Germano Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catole's Ulysses Saraiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Garcia in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to Catole getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Natã de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Germano Garcia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catole's Ulysses Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ulysses Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Germano Garcia in the 81st minute of the match. Germano Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ulysses Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierrot Calcio's Sydney Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Pierrot Calcio from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias Meirelles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sydney Mandrak. That made the score 0-3 in the 92 minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, Pierrot Calcio's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Meirelles came free, but Sydney Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Catole eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
