Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodriguinho Lucas made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, ECP Team's goalkeeper Juvenal Baiano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Recife. After 57 played minutes ECP Team got a freekick which was hit by Evaristo Pinheiro. Juvenal Baiano acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Haroldo Lopez. Rodriguinho Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Baiano having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Conselho eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
