Afonso Couto charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonso Couto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Poacos got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Couto. Nuno da Fonseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Lima in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Nilson Lima sped through Poacos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno da Fonseca. In the 15th match minute, Poacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Couto to maneuver through the defense. Dida Campidelis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. João Adolfo Baiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th match minute, Poacos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Poacos's goalkeeper Nuno da Fonseca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nilson Lima. Nilson Lima in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno da Fonseca, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nilson Lima struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Nuno da Fonseca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Douradina City FC. After 37 minutes, Nilson Lima made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Poacos's Nuno da Fonseca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 41st minute, Nilson Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nilson Lima sped through Poacos's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nuno da Fonseca.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcinho Faria made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Genílson Mello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuno da Fonseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuno da Fonseca came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Douradina City FC's Nilson Lima. But to his dismay, Nilson Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Genílson Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Douradina City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genílson Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno da Fonseca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilson Lima in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno da Fonseca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The long shot by Dudu Tepedino in the 96th minute really tested João Adolfo Baiano's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Douradina City FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
