With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Luís Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tauaquera SC's Pedro Luís Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulryk Czajka in the 22nd minute of play. Nuno de Andrade struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Pedro Luís Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noroeste Paulista. In the 29th minute, Ulryk Czajka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Luís Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Maradona in the 37th minute of play forced Tauaquera SC's goalkeeper Pedro Luís Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilmar Antunes kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Alfons Persson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 71st minute. Noroeste Paulista's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 73 minutes, Júnior Brodel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauaquera SC and the Noroeste Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Noroeste Paulista booed when Tauaquera SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Brodel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 minutes, Nuno de Andrade made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Ronaldo Maradona kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Noroeste Paulista's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
