Spectators: 6635 (Terracing: 5485, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nuno de Andrade started the match with the kick off. Abe Stad was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ronaldo Maradona came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Noroeste Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Maradona couldn't finish the play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Gustavo Ferraz in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damaso Roldanillo saved Noroeste Paulista from getting behind. Nuno de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abe Stad. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Nuno de Andrade got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ronaldo Maradona scored 0-7 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abe Stad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 76 minutes into the game, Durvalino Santana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Noroeste Paulista the free kick. Ronaldo Maradona took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abe Stad. Abe Stad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Ronaldo Maradona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Abe Stad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Noroeste Paulista getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Serafim Ramalho hit a great ball. If Nuno de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Canal got a freekick which was hit by Durvalino Santana. 94 minutes into the game, Ronaldo Maradona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-10. Abe Stad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Canal fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Noroeste Paulista were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
