Caco Velloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ezequiel Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Meireles having to interfere. Pedro Luiz Dracena's late challenge caught a Jaguary EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Luiz Dracena helped the player get up and apologised. Pedro Luiz Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Ezequiel Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Rocha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Gustavo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caco Velloso in the 15th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Meireles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo de Toledo in the 17th minute of the match. Lino Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Reginaldo de Toledo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luís Gustavo Meireles, passed just outside the right post. In the 34th minute, Caco Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luís Gustavo Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo de Toledo in the 39th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Michel de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Reginaldo de Toledo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaguary EC's Luís Gustavo Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caco Velloso in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Jaguary EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Lucas Hoffmann hit a great ball. When Caco Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Paranagi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Velloso couldn't finish the play. After 60 played minutes, Paranagi's Dida Quirino shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Meireles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paranagi reached it. Ezequiel Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Rocha having to interfere. The supporters of Paranagi booed when Jaguary EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edu Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Paranagi were awarded a corner. Gonçalo Vargas went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Gonçalo Vargas got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luís Gustavo Meireles quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 74 minutes into the match, Jaguary EC's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Velloso came free, but Luís Gustavo Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paranagi's Lino Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Paranagi from getting a goal against them. 82 minutes into the game, Paranagi's Reginaldo de Toledo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Jaguary EC's Luís Gustavo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Velloso in the 90th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paranagi had won after a very even match.
