In the 15thth minute of the game Olavo Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapiranga F C's Filip Mentus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Nilson de Amorim took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Luís Cosme to make any attempt to save it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pong Elin to strike the kick off in the second half. Olavo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Filip Mentus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Seco in the 52nd minute of play. With a little luck, Sapiranga F C's Filip Mentus got control of the ball when Olavo Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pong Elin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luís Cosme having to interfere. In the 59th minute of the match Rubinho Travassos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filip Mentus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Betão Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Nilson de Amorim had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Luís Cosme. Tauaquera SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilson de Amorim was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Pong Elin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 72 in the game by Olavo Seco from a close distance when the talented Filip Mentus managed to make a qualified save. Sapiranga F C's players were relieved.
