An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Prestes in the 84th minute of play forced Jaguary EC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Canal's Ricardo Lago got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 97th play minutes Luís Gustavo Ferraz shot 1-7, a short shot which went by Luís Gustavo Meireles and just under the crossbar into goal. When the final whistle sounded Canal left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jaguary EC.
