Spectators: 7222 (Terracing: 5418, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Michel de Godoi kicked off to start the match. In the 11th minute Olavo Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gernando Paiva's late challenge caught a Jaguary EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando Paiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 25th minute, Gernando Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaguary EC's Luís Gustavo Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Seco in the 28th minute of play. Olavo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edu Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Tauaquera SC's Waldemar Dante in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguary EC's goalie prevented a goal. Filipe Luz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 43rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luís Gustavo Meireles. Jaguary EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Waldemar Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olavo Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Luís Gustavo Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Dante in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Gustavo Meireles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jaguary EC's Luís Gustavo Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jaguary EC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júnior Brodel in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Gustavo Meireles saved Jaguary EC from getting behind. Edu Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Nilmar Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tauaquera SC and the Jaguary EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Waldemar Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th match minute, Jaguary EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dráuzio Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match, Olavo Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luís Gustavo Meireles was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Edu Jacinto charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edu Jacinto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edu Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Olavo Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Meireles made a huge save. After having played for 78 minutes, Júnior Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tauaquera SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Brodel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olavo Seco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Luís Gustavo Meireles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 played minutes Jaguary EC got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Aparecido. Luís Gustavo Meireles came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Tauaquera SC's Olavo Seco. But to his dismay, Olavo Seco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 91 minutes into the match, Jaguary EC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olavo Seco. During the 92nd minute of the match Edu Jacinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Edu Jacinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 played minutes Jaguary EC got a freekick which was hit by Edu Jacinto. In the 94th minute of the match Rubinho Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Gustavo Meireles skillfully saved the ball. Olavo Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Tauaquera SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jaguary EC.
