Wilton Velloso came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Angola FC's Luiz Gustavo Senna. But to his dismay, Luiz Gustavo Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. After 48 minutes, Wiliam Cerezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angola FC and the Uarati players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Wiliam Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Betão Sá to make the kick off. Angola FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Antônio do Valle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aílton Catarinense. Angola FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio do Valle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 92 played minutes Angola FC got a freekick which was hit by Natã Madureira. Uarati were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after Angola FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dadá Guerra took the corner. Dadá Guerra made a great header on Uarati's corner, it was just that Angola FC's Aílton Catarinense managed to reach the ball for a save. When Raphael Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Uarati fans jumped to their feet.
