Carlos Eduardo Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ronaldão Munhoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalore. Ronaldão Munhoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Reis in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute Carlos Eduardo Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Munhoz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 minutes, Silvinho Tavares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bigorna and the Kalore players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kalore fans cheered their team off the field, for while Bigorna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
