In the 7th minute Gino Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iuri Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Yuri Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Guanabara F.C.'s Iuri Arruda got a free kick in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Cleiton de Mendonça cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Wesley Silva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

União Dos Renegados F.C's Yuri Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save União Dos Renegados F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Giuseppe Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wesley Silva having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Cleiton de Mendonça ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Silva was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Wesley Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Iuri Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nóbrega having to interfere. Nestor Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. União Dos Renegados F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Guanabara F.C. for much of the match.
