To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Breno de Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Império Alviverde's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno de Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simão Romero in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Império Alviverde booed when Zico F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caio Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Zico F.C's Jailson Seco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gláuber Martins narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 96 played minutes Império Alviverde got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Seco. Império Alviverde walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
