Jatai's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jatai's Armando Tavares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Jatai from getting a goal against them. Ademar de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Nóbrega having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in União Dos Renegados F.C's zone, Haroldo Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Nóbrega came out of the goal and Haroldo Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Haroldo Antunes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Nóbrega. União Dos Renegados F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haroldo Antunes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Haroldo Antunes to make the kick off. With a little luck, União Dos Renegados F.C's Yuri Nóbrega got control of the ball when Ademar de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ademar de Toledo couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Ademar de Toledo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 92 minutes União Dos Renegados F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Valdemar de Almeida who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Jatai's corner Valdemar de Almeida fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yuri Nóbrega quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, União Dos Renegados F.C's Tales Vidal got a free kick in the 96th minute. Jatai played a much better game than União Dos Renegados F.C and deserved their victory. The União Dos Renegados F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
