After 37 minutes of play, AFC Ajax's Murilo Cardozo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yuri Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jairo Costa's late challenge caught a AFC Ajax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adelino Matorin in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Narciso Marques saved AFC Ajax from getting behind. In the 78th match minute, União Dos Renegados F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tales Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Tales Vidal was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Yuri Nóbrega came out of the goal and Murilo Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AFC Ajax were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of União Dos Renegados F.C for a fine match.
