The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. Edgar Arce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 51stth minute tested the skills of Yuri Nóbrega when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Edgar Arce got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Galáticos MZ's Zézinho Seco got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edgar Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galáticos MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar Arce was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yuri Nóbrega breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
