Guanabara F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aceme the free kick. Rubinho Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Nando Nunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wesley Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Augusto Vargas in the 16th minute of the match. Manuel Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Dante in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Guanabara F.C. booed when Aceme was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Agnaldo de Sousa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Manuel Rocha skillfully saved the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Aceme's Zé Augusto Vargas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wesley Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! 40 minutes into the match, Caio Brodel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wesley Silva. Guanabara F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Caio Brodel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The Guanabara F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Aceme were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Dante to make the kick off. A collision led to Aceme getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Gilvan Motta hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Caio Brodel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aceme's supporters rose to their feet, but Caio Brodel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wesley Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Caio Brodel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wesley Silva. Caio Brodel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Manuel Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Zé Augusto Vargas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guanabara F.C.'s Rubinho Alcântara got a free kick in the 78th minute. Zé Augusto Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Wesley Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wesley Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caio Brodel in the 82nd minute of play. If Zé Augusto Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. After 95 played minutes Aceme got a freekick which was hit by Gilvan Motta. When the match was over Aceme could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guanabara F.C. throughout the match.
