Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cícero Quadros made the kick off which started today's match. If Cícero Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Ca o Du's zone, Ademar de Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Almeida came out of the goal and Ademar de Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Haroldo Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Almeida came out of the goal and Haroldo Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sidnei Dias hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Ademar de Toledo lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Augusto Almeida. When Jatai's Haroldo Antunes in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ca o Du's goalie prevented a goal. Augusto Almeida came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Jatai's Haroldo Antunes. But to his dismay, Haroldo Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Haroldo Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Almeida having to interfere. Ademar de Toledo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ademar de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Almeida having to interfere. Armando Tavares came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ca o Du's Cícero Quadros. But to his dismay, Cícero Quadros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Haroldo Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 67 minutes into the match, Ca o Du's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar de Toledo came free, but Augusto Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ademar de Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Haroldo Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar de Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Almeida having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Luís Gustavo da Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Adelino Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Armando Tavares. That made the score 2-3 in the 88 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Adelino Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ca o Du's supporters rose to their feet, but Adelino Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Tavares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Jatai lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
