Galáticos MZ's Edgar Arce got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Império Alviverde getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Franklin Zonta hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Gláuber Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baltazar Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 57th minute, Fausto Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galáticos MZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0.
