Spectators: 6542 (Terracing: 5200, Seating: 1200, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cícero Quadros started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Rubinho Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Quadros was extremely unlucky when he, in the 4th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 8 played minutes Guanabara F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rubinho Alcântara. 14 minutes into the match, Guanabara F.C.'s Iuri Arruda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Almeida narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ca o Du's zone, Gino Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Almeida came out of the goal and Gino Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Augusto Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iuri Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cícero Quadros in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Silva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cícero Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cícero Quadros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Silva having to make a save. If Gino Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Arruda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Almeida having to interfere. Luís Gustavo da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wesley Silva having to make a save. Augusto Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Dante in the 46th minute of the match. Iuri Arruda scored 1-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Almeida, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Dante to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Rubinho Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cícero Quadros in the 55th minute of the match. Dito Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dito Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ca o Du's Dito Loureiro got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Iuri Arruda fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Augusto Almeida, passed just outside the right post. Luís Gustavo da Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Adelino Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Wesley Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match.
