Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Yan Duarte made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th minute, Culés's Benjamin Alves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nelson Tavares. Nelson Tavares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Yan Duarte's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nelson Tavares firmly grabbed it by the left post. Barreiras's Nelson Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Alves in the 18th minute of play. André Luiz Novaes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Otávio Gerber having to make a save. Cleiton Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Gerber having to interfere. Nelson Tavares came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Culés's Zé Pedro Dionísio. But to his dismay, Zé Pedro Dionísio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 27th minute, Benjamin Alves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nelson Tavares. The goal made the score 3-0. Benjamin Alves might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nelson Tavares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Alves ran back to his position shaking his head. If Romeu Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yan Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Nelson Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 50 minutes Barreiras's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Benjamin Alves who took care of the corner kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleiton Tinoco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Otávio Gerber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Tinoco in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Dionísio in the 60th minute of play forced Barreiras's goalkeeper Nelson Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nelson Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belmiro Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Otávio Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 71 minutes of play, Culés's Benjamin Alves made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Tavares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute Yan Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nelson Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barreiras! In the 84th minute there was a penalty for Culés. Benjamin Alves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nelson Tavares. 6-0. Nelson Tavares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeu Carneiro went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yan Duarte in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Tavares saved Barreiras from getting behind. Benjamin Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 102nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Culés walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
