After a defensive mix-up in All Garrafa's zone, Jairo Barral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erik Fontes came out of the goal and Jairo Barral tried to chip the ball over his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raúl Trigo in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the game, Jairo Barral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Espera SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave All Garrafa the free kick. Jairo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Albertinho Velloso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Espera SS and the All Garrafa players grew even worse after the yellow card. All Garrafa's Erik Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Barral in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Espera SS booed when All Garrafa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olov Bogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo Barral got free with Erik Fontes in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernandinho Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Wilton Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
