In the 12th minute, Jairo Barral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jairo Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Britto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Santana in the 16th minute of play. Jairo Barral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rdth minute of the game Vítor Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espera SS's Wilton Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeu Mazza in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Vítor de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Espera SS's goalkeeper Wilton Britto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oséias Valle. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Trigo in the 40th minute of play forced ASSOCIAÇAO ATLETICA TIJUK's goalkeeper João Vítor de Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Raúl Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vítor Santana made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Oséias Valle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilton Britto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jairo Barral's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Vítor de Toledo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Jairo Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Espera SS's Raúl Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raúl Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. João Vítor de Toledo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 87 minutes, Vítor Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASSOCIAÇAO ATLETICA TIJUK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vítor Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jairo Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but João Vítor de Toledo made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, André Luís Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Vítor de Toledo having to interfere.
