The corner was taken by Sílvio Goiano in the 47th minute. The U.S. Palermo Uxx players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Espera SS were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raúl Trigo made a kick off. A collision led to Espera SS getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tadeu Mazza hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Conrado de Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilton Britto was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game.
