Décio Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Luís Azevedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC. Ronaldo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Luís Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the game, Itapirapuan AD got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. The long shot by Ernani Rezende in the 32nd minute really tested Gugu Tavares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Geraldo Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC's zone, Tião Urbano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gugu Tavares came out of the goal and Tião Urbano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geraldo Abraão stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Genílson Toledo suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Osvaldo Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Osvaldo Arósio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After 58 minutes, Luís Fábio Goiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC and the Itapirapuan AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute there was a penalty for Itapirapuan AD. Leonardo Bezerra stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gugu Tavares. 2-0. After 63 minutes, Geraldo Abraão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itapirapuan AD and the CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geraldo Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ronaldo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernani Rezende hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC's Luís Fábio Goiano tried to score from far away in the 76th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Geraldo Abraão got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ronaldo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Décio Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Tião Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Décio Breckenfeld fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Azevedo having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Itapirapuan AD's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Breckenfeld came free, but Luís Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96thth minute of the game Décio Breckenfeld who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapirapuan AD's Luís Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CRAQUES DO FUTURO FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
