Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jairo Barral kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Espera SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Goiano to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Hernani de Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton Britto having to interfere. When Edu Santana fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espera SS's protests and gave Edu Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute Erasmo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All Garrafa's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Jairo Barral scored to the left of an out of position Erik Fontes, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Espera SS's Albertinho Velloso got a free kick in the 28th minute. Hernani de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raúl Trigo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Raúl Trigo kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Eugênio Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. All Garrafa's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilton Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, All Garrafa's Erik Fontes got control of the ball when Erasmo Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Raúl Trigo was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Espera SS's Raúl Trigo got a free kick in the 38th minute. Erasmo Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erik Fontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erasmo Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, All Garrafa's goalkeeper Erik Fontes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erasmo Marquez. Erik Fontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Mazza in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Eugênio Sena made the kick off in the second half. Fernandinho Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Erasmo Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Espera SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erasmo Marquez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernandinho Paraíba got free with Wilton Britto in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 66 minutes into the match, Espera SS's Erasmo Marquez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erik Fontes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes Espera SS got a freekick which was hit by Jairo Barral. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Marquez in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Fontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Espera SS players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
