With his leg Fábio Cearense managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Nova Granada Soccer's Papi Colorado fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Adriano Rodrigues managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nova Granada Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Rodrigues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fábio Cearense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Conchas booed when Nova Granada Soccer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Cordeara didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Papi Colorado made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Nova Granada Soccer's Papi Colorado got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Nova Granada Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 61 minutes into the game, Nova Granada Soccer's Mihai Eminescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fábio Cearense made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 64th minute, Emerson Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Fábio Cearense. Conchas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Juan Cristóbal í Lon Jacobsen made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Ramiro Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute Mihai Eminescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Nova Granada Soccer fans cheered their team off the field, for while Conchas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
