Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) Goldens Boys's Oséas Tande started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Oséas Tande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clube Atlético Juventus's Perivaldo Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The long shot by Alfredinho Gonçalves in the 16th minute really tested Perivaldo Lara's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Goldens Boys's Oséas Tande got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute Antônio Carlos de Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Carlos de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Clube Atlético Juventus booed when Goldens Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didi Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Goldens Boys's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Silveira came free, but Jorginho Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Natã Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube Atlético Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Goldens Boys the free kick. After 28 played minutes Clube Atlético Juventus got a freekick which was hit by Natã Soares. Oséas Tande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Carlos Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jorginho Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Lara having to interfere. If Antônio Carlos de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oséas Tande in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Luiz Ramos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Lara having to interfere. After 58 played minutes Clube Atlético Juventus got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Carlos de Godoi. Luiz Ramos took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Lara. Perivaldo Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Perivaldo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Ramos in the 72nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Luiz Ramos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldens Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Goldens Boys's Luiz Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Oséas Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Goldens Boys had won after a very even match.
