When Ramiro Bezerra came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Conchas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Bezerra couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Conchas's Evandro Braga got a free kick in the 9th minute. Silvinho Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fábio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvinho Queirós in the 12th minute of play. Fábio Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Queirós in the 17th minute of the match. After 18th play minutes João Pedro Goiano shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Róbson de Salles and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Conchas getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Gilvan Fernandes hit a great ball. Afonso Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Fábio Cearense made a huge save. Róbson de Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Pedro Goiano went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 33 played minutes Conchas got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Augusto Damião. The supporters of JAHU 43 booed when Conchas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Túlio Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 played minutes, JAHU 43's Erasmo Trevisan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fábio Cearense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JAHU 43 reached it. A collision led to Conchas getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Evandro Braga hit a great ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvinho Queirós to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Conchas got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Cunha. The supporters of Conchas booed when JAHU 43 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil de Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Róbson de Salles was a little too slow when João Pedro Goiano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-3. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Bezerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Róbson de Salles was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Ramiro Bezerra had several of the JAHU 43's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 60 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-4 score and a disappointed Róbson de Salles as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 66th minute, Conchas's João Pedro Goiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. Róbson de Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Pedro Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil de Moraes scored 3-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fábio Cearense, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Conchas made a substitution. Almir Romero replaced João Pedro Goiano. In the 81st minute, Ramiro Bezerra left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Conchas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. If Almir Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the game, Ramiro Bezerra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-7. Róbson de Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 93rd minute João Carlos Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fábio Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conchas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
