The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Goldens Boys's Jorginho Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Paraibano in the 27th minute of play. Jorginho Brito was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Kauã Costa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kauã Costa really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Kauã Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Goldens Boys's Jorginho Brito got control of the ball when Kauã Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aloísio Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Olívio Campidelis put in a rough tackle. Jorginho Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio Paraibano in the 67th minute of play. Jorginho Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio Paraibano in the 94th minute of the match. In the 100th minute Aloísio Paraibano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Tartarem SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
