Emanuel da Rocha hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Emanuel da Rocha was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Halcones.FC 39-XX's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ituyutaba's Afonso Vinhas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ituyutaba from getting a goal against them. Ituyutaba's Afonso Vinhas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel da Rocha in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Halcones.FC 39-XX's Cauan Goiano got a free kick in the 61st minute. Afonso Vinhas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diguinho Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aníbal Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 83rd minute Fred Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni da Fonseca in the 88th minute of play forced Halcones.FC 39-XX's goalkeeper Aníbal Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Geovanni da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Aníbal Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ituyutaba.
