Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandrinho Cordeiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Décio Vander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Fluminense FC's Noel Castro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronaldo da Rocha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sandrinho Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ronaldo da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Quixelo AD's Nico Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manuel Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Marcel Lopez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Ortiz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Quixelo AD's Nico Gaspar. But to his dismay, Nico Gaspar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Aloísio de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quixelo AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aloísio de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Joel Sabóia sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Fluminense FC's Manuel Ortiz didn't even have to move. Humberto Pereira hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ronaldo da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Galvão, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Luciano Queiroz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Ortiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Luciano Queiroz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 40th minute. Manuel Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aloísio de Sena in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aloísio de Sena to strike the kick off in the second half. Fluminense FC's Manuel Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio de Sena in the 52nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aloísio de Sena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Ortiz was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Fluminense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Lopez to maneuver through the defense. Quixelo AD's Ronaldo da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Quixelo AD from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Fluminense FC's zone, Mathias Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Ortiz came out of the goal and Mathias Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aloísio de Sena in the 71st minute of the match. During the 72nd minute of the match Rogério Paraíba completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rogério Paraíba a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 74th minute, Aloísio de Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quixelo AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Aloísio de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Ortiz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Gaspar in the 86th minute of play forced Fluminense FC's goalkeeper Manuel Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio de Sena scored 5-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manuel Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nico Gaspar struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Manuel Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quixelo AD. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Quixelo AD had played much better football throughout.
