With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jarbas Arantes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Rezende's zone, Cauan Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Arantes came out of the goal and Cauan Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
