The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Murilo Pereira made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Santana. AAUF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The audience was convinced that André Carneiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Santana was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the game, André Carneiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Santana. André Carneiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 20 minutes into the game, Sly FC's André Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Santana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, André Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sly FC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. AAUF's Pedro Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Carneiro in the 24th minute of play. André Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Santana having to interfere. André Carneiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 31st minute, Luisinho Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Delfim Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sly FC's zone, Amauri Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner de Barros came out of the goal and Amauri Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amauri Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wágner de Barros having to make a save. After having played for 43 minutes, Amauri Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AAUF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amauri Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Santana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauan Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Nilton Nascimento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Sly FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AAUF for a fine match.
