Anderson de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Marquez struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Olavo Varela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chakais do Oeste. In the 19th minute Zé Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Varela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match, Carlos Eduardo Cosme tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Olavo Varela saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Atlético-PR's Olavo Varela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Atlético-PR from getting a goal against them. Rui Paulista helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, Germano Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético-PR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chakais do Oeste the free kick. The referee gave Chakais do Oeste a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rui Paulista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Atlético-PR's Olavo Varela. 5-0. Carlos Eduardo Cosme struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. In the 86th minute of the match, Emanuel Mangueira got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruy Mota was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chakais do Oeste's Ruy Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Chakais do Oeste from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anderson de Amorim in the 91st minute of play forced Atlético-PR's goalkeeper Olavo Varela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlos Eduardo Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Eduardo Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ruy Mota was out of position in the 101 minute of play, and Luisão Neto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisão Neto really showed his touch with that goal: 6-1. Chakais do Oeste walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
