The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Simão Souza was the one to do the kick off. Simão Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Murillo Chaves made a huge save. With a little luck, C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's Murillo Chaves got control of the ball when Rafa de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Santana couldn't finish the play. C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Simão Souza scored to the left of an out of position Murillo Chaves, making the score, 3-8. After a defensive mix-up in C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's zone, Amílton Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Chaves came out of the goal and Amílton Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Magno Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Leite, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Hudson Leite had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magno Travassos. Whoff S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hudson Leite was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-8. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Whoff S.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
