Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dário Tasso kicked off to start the match. Whoff S.C's Magno Travassos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Whoff S.C from getting a goal against them. Robinho Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Jitirana EC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa de Alcântara came free, but Robinho Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amílton Santana took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Robinho Meira. Robinho Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Whoff S.C booed when Jitirana EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robinho Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinei Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Robinho Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Rafa de Alcântara had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robinho Meira. Jitirana EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafa de Alcântara was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Dedé Quadros lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 34 minutes into the game, one of Whoff S.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Whoff S.C's Simão Souza in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jitirana EC's goalie prevented a goal. Robinho Meira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Santana went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Simão Souza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robinho Meira. Jitirana EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simão Souza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The Jitirana EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Whoff S.C were winning 1-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão Souza to make the kick off. João Augusto Mendes might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robinho Meira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. João Augusto Mendes ran back to his position shaking his head. Robinho Meira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simão Souza in the 57th minute. Simão Souzas short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Robinho Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Simão Souza's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Robinho Meira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 68 played minutes Jitirana EC got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Martins. Robinho Meira was a little too slow when Simão Souza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-7. Simão Souzas short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Robinho Meira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Simão Souza, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Robinho Meira was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. João Augusto Mendes struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Robinho Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whoff S.C. In the 85th minute of the match, Simão Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robinho Meira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Simão Souza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robinho Meira having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, Jitirana EC's goalkeeper Robinho Meira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Simão Souza. 95 minutes into the match, Abelardo de Medeiros notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Whoff S.C's Magno Travassos. Magno Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
