Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gonçalo Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Pires in the 3rd minute of the match. Donato Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Tinoco having to make a save. Olívio Saraiva kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's zone, Álvaro Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Chaves came out of the goal and Álvaro Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 10th minute Cido Novaes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Chaves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Taititu's João Vítor Madureira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's Murillo Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Álvaro Soeiro in the 23rd minute of play. Matheus de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's Murillo Chaves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cido Novaes in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murillo Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's zone, Matheus de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Murillo Chaves came out of the goal and Matheus de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Taititu's Cido Novaes in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gonçalo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléber Donato in the 38th minute of play. João Vítor Madureiras short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Murillo Chaves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Murillo Chaves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kléberson Martins in the 41st minute. Matheus de Senna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Murillo Chaves made a huge save. Manuel do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Olívio Saraiva fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's protests and gave Olívio Saraiva a yellow card for diving instead. Olívio Saraiva hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Pires to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, C.R 13 de Jacarepaguá's Danilo Pires got a free kick in the 54th minute.
