In the 3rd minute Cléber da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olavo Vianna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 4 in the game by Marcus Tavares from a close distance when the talented Deivid Saraiva managed to make a qualified save. Blackouts's players were relieved. In the 8th match minute, JARDIM GUANABARA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Donato Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Marcus Tavares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Deivid Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 17 played minutes Blackouts got a freekick which was hit by Geovanni Rocha. In the 18th minute, Glauco Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deivid Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Olavo Vianna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléber da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Blackouts's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Fernandez came free, but Deivid Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Donato Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cléber da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Vianna having to interfere. The supporters of JARDIM GUANABARA booed when Blackouts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cléber da Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcus Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Deivid Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emílio Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Vladimir Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Marcus Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the JARDIM GUANABARA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Tavares couldn't finish the play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thomás Viana to strike the kick off in the second half. JARDIM GUANABARA's Donato Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marcus Tavares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the JARDIM GUANABARA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Tavares couldn't finish the play. Marcus Tavares might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Deivid Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcus Tavares ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Blackouts's zone, Glauco Toscano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Deivid Saraiva came out of the goal and Glauco Toscano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deivid Saraiva came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by JARDIM GUANABARA's Marcus Tavares. But to his dismay, Marcus Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. JARDIM GUANABARA's Marcus Tavares got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Glauco Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Durval Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcus Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Deivid Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Emílio Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot. JARDIM GUANABARA's supporters rose to their feet, but Emílio Berger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that JARDIM GUANABARA were the better team. JARDIM GUANABARA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
