Spectators: 6746 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Luciano de Queiroz made the kick off which started today's match. Rogério Bastos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano de Queiroz in the 5th minute of play forced Flamengo's goalkeeper Ionică Cantemir to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ionică Cantemir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Ademir Gomes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Dieguinho Linhares to make any attempt to save it. Luciano de Queiroz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. 2-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Ademir Gomes elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Emerson Corrêa kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dieguinho Linhares. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. Gilberto de Souza hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute of the match Luís Eduardo Teixeira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionică Cantemir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, Bacasable FC's Dieguinho Linhares got control of the ball when Ademir Gomes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ademir Gomess short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Dieguinho Linhares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dieguinho Linhares made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Ademir Gomes sent off a good shot on target. Dieguinho Linhares came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo's Gilberto de Souza. But to his dismay, Gilberto de Souza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Iuri Marques took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dieguinho Linhares. Dieguinho Linhares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When Flamengo's Emerson Corrêa in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bacasable FC's goalie prevented a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Flamengo's Emerson Corrêa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dieguinho Linhares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Corrêa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano de Queiroz came free, but Ionică Cantemir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Ademir Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dieguinho Linhares. Bacasable FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ademir Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. After 63 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Flamengo! Ionică Cantemir went to the wrong direction when Luís Eduardo Teixeira was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Rubinho de Mendonça hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, Bacasable FC's Chiquinho Gaspar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ionică Cantemir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Dieguinho Linhares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bacasable FC's goalkeeper Dieguinho Linhares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Ademir Gomes made a precise shot to the right of Dieguinho Linhares. Bacasable FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Flamengo fully deserved thier win.
