Spectators: 7110 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 52) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maicon de Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. Zhelyazko Qwinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naldo Trigo in the 4th minute. After 5 minutes, Serafim Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Herreria and the SE Piroxenio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Serafim Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Celso Leite rounded SE Piroxenio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Maicon de Amaral took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Castro. Adhemar Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, SE Piroxenio's goal looked a bit too open when Celso Leite came free, but Zhelyazko Qwinton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Luiz de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz de Amaral in the 31st minute of play forced Herreria's goalkeeper Adhemar Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the game, one of Herreria:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half SE Piroxenio were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celso Leite made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, SE Piroxenio's Maicon de Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Adhemar Castro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd play minute Luiz de Amaral came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Adhemar Castro. 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Celso Leite in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zhelyazko Qwinton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 67 minutes of play, Herreria's Celso Leite made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhelyazko Qwinton was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Luiz de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 80th minute of the match Serafim Amorim completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Serafim Amorim a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of SE Piroxenio booed when Herreria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Amorim didn't get a good kick on the ball. SE Piroxenio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
