Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Fabrício Mendes fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Zhelyazko Qwinton, passed just outside the right post. With an all-out effort, Catakeamain's Zhelyazko Qwinton threw himself towards the right post 12 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jânio Queirós, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 15thth minute of the game Luiz de Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catakeamain's Luiz Fernando Lago was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, SE Piroxenio's Reinaldo Cearense got a free kick in the 27th minute. Luiz Fernando Lago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz de Amaral's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After 35 played minutes, Catakeamain's Nilmar Cunha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zhelyazko Qwinton came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Catakeamain reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Maicon de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. SE Piroxenio's supporters rose to their feet, but Maicon de Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fernando Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jânio Queirós was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Queirós during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Catakeamain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jânio Queirós to maneuver through the defense. After 53 minutes of play SE Piroxenio's Natanael Breckenfeld was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a defensive mix-up in SE Piroxenio's zone, Fabrício Mendes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhelyazko Qwinton came out of the goal and Fabrício Mendes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maicon de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Luiz Fernando Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maicon de Amaral's late challenge caught a Catakeamain's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maicon de Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. Zhelyazko Qwinton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Catakeamain's Jânio Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Reinaldo Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Catakeamain getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rubinho Pena hit a great ball. During the 92nd minute of the match Maicon de Amaral completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maicon de Amaral a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, SE Piroxenio's Maicon de Amaral got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Catakeamain's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
