Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo Trigo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dieguinho Linhares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juan Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Adhemar Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Castro having to interfere. Dieguinho Linhares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naldo Trigo in the 15th minute of the match. If Naldo Trigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Aguiar in the 20th minute of play forced Herreria's goalkeeper Adhemar Castro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, one of Herreria:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Herreria. In the 32nd minute, Diego Macedo made a precise shot to the right of Adhemar Castro. Herreria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After 35 played minutes Bacasable FC got a freekick which was hit by Diego Macedo. Basílio Vasconcelos charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Vasconcelos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bacasable FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celso Leite to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Bacasable FC's Dieguinho Linhares got control of the ball when Naldo Trigo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Herreria's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano de Queiroz came free, but Adhemar Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Herreria got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Amorim. If Juan Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Luciano de Queiroz made a precise shot to the right of Adhemar Castro. Herreria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Adhemar Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano de Queiroz in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Bacasable FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Naldo Trigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Vides during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celso Leite charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chiquinho Gaspar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Luciano de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Herreria's Zé Vides got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Juan Aguiar struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Adhemar Castro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bacasable FC. Luciano de Queiroz might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adhemar Castro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luciano de Queiroz ran back to his position shaking his head. Adhemar Castro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Aguiar in the 90th minute of the match. Luciano de Queiroz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adhemar Castro. Adhemar Castro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 96th minute Luciano de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adhemar Castro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bacasable FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
