Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ubirataia FC's Wesley Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Correntinho's goal looked a bit too open when Hernani Dante came free, but Elivélton Valadares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Wesley Sousa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Elivélton Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute, Hernani Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 23rdth minute of the game Hernani Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Correntinho's Elivélton Valadares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Leonardo Matorin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ubirataia FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Correntinho the free kick. Leonardo Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Wesley Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elivélton Valadares having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Correntinho's zone, Hernani Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elivélton Valadares came out of the goal and Hernani Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hernani Dante got in the 38th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Elivélton Valadares handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Elivélton Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ubirataia FC's Hernani Dante in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Correntinho's goalie prevented a goal. Fausto Lira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elivélton Valadares. Correntinho's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 47th minute Hernani Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elivélton Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernani Dante stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Correntinho's Jaime Rossi got a free kick in the 51st minute. Elivélton Valadares was out of position in the 53 minute of play, and Hernani Dante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernani Dante really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The audience was convinced that Hernani Dante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elivélton Valadares was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Hernani Dante ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elivélton Valadares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The supporters of Ubirataia FC booed when Correntinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Baptista didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Correntinho getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Jaime Rossi hit a great ball. Hernani Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elivélton Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Correntinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléberson Baptista to maneuver through the defense. Hernani Dante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Elivélton Valadares made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Hernani Dante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Elivélton Valadares. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 85th minute, Noel Pereira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elivélton Valadares had great luck who in the 89thth minute grab hold of the ball when Hernani Dante from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Leonardo Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Elivélton Valadares made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Hernani Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ubirataia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernani Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elivélton Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Ubirataia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Correntinho throughout the match.
