Anderson Campidelis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaltino Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Barreto during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manada FC's Carlos Alberto Barreto got a free kick in the 10th minute. After 12 minutes Manada FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fernandão Mazza who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Tucum's corner Fernandão Mazza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anderson Campidelis quite easily take care of the ball. Tucum's Elano Bueno got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isaltino Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Campidelis having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Barreto was shown his second yellow card after 19 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. 18 minutes into the game, one of Manada FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 25th minute, Zé Roberto Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 29 played minutes Manada FC got a freekick which was hit by Vágner Zanette. Zé Roberto Martins might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anderson Campidelis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Roberto Martins ran back to his position shaking his head. Isaltino Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Anderson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cerezo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Manada FC's zone, Isaltino Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Campidelis came out of the goal and Isaltino Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 40 minutes, Zé Roberto Martins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tucum and the Manada FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Zé Roberto Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute, Tucum's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vítor Arósio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vítor Arósio to strike the kick off in the second half. Zé Roberto Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Anderson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Isaltino Cunha ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anderson Campidelis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Vágner Zanette was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. If Haroldo Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anderson Campidelis was out of position in the 65 minute of play, and Elano Bueno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elano Bueno really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Zé Roberto Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anderson Campidelis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Manada FC's zone, Elano Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anderson Campidelis came out of the goal and Elano Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Elano Bueno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elano Bueno was extremely unlucky when he, in the 82nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isaltino Cunha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Anderson Campidelis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Isaltino Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Anderson Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Marcos Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Vítor Arósio came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Manada FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Arósio couldn't finish the play. Tucum played a much better game than Manada FC and deserved their victory. The Manada FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
