Haroldo Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubinho Damião stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 78th minute Tucum were awarded a corner. Fernandão Mazza went to the cornerflag to take it. Zé Roberto Martins made a great header on Tucum's corner, it was just that Xurupitas Football Team's Evandro Donatello managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience was convinced that Isaltino Cunha's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evandro Donatello was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleiton de Almeida in the 82nd minute of play forced Xurupitas Football Team's goalkeeper Evandro Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Tucum's Zé Roberto Martins seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zé Roberto Martins the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tucum protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Roberto Martins had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Tucum's Zé Roberto Martins got a free kick in the 86th minute. When Renato Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Xurupitas Football Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Renato Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Doni Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Elano Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Elano Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evandro Donatello having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Bueno in the 94th minute of play forced Xurupitas Football Team's goalkeeper Evandro Donatello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Xurupitas Football Team's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Cerezo came free, but Evandro Donatello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evandro Donatello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Amorim in the 97th minute of the match. Tucum's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
