The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in TUBARÃO DIGITAL's zone, Dráusio da Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Neto came out of the goal and Dráusio da Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th match minute, TUBARÃO DIGITAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson Amaral to maneuver through the defense. TUBARÃO DIGITAL's Carlos Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan de Queirós in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Cauan de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Carlos Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th match minute, Mutrapeba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauan de Queirós to maneuver through the defense. Váldson Amaral's late challenge caught a Mutrapeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Váldson Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Váldson Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dráusio da Cunha in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Neto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabinho Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Jailson Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TUBARÃO DIGITAL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mutrapeba the free kick. Jailson Santos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Cauan de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Neto having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Fabinho Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TUBARÃO DIGITAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabinho Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Lauro de Barros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Anselmo Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabinho Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 64th minute, Dráusio da Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. TUBARÃO DIGITAL's Carlos Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan de Queirós in the 66th minute of play. Dráusio da Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Carlos Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dráusio da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aírton Mazza's late challenge caught a Mutrapeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TUBARÃO DIGITAL getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aírton Mazza hit a great ball. In the 81st minute Lauro de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Mutrapeba got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Messias. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. TUBARÃO DIGITAL had won after a very even match.
