After some careless play in the Mutrapeba defense, Luiz Fábio Nogueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anselmo Penha. The Mutrapeba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anselmo Penha should have stopped the shot. Luís Fábio Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Penha having to interfere. If Cauan de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute, Luís Fábio Marquez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Penha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After the first half Escondido were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luís Fábio Marquez made the kick off in the second half. Mutrapeba's Anselmo Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fábio Marquez in the 53rd minute of play. Luiz Fábio Nogueira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Penha having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Mutrapeba's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luiz Fábio Nogueira fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Allan Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan de Queirós in the 62nd minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Dráusio da Cunha notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Escondido's Allan Amorim. Allan Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dráusio da Cunha in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Allan Amorim saved Escondido from getting behind. Ronaldão Neto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Allan Amorim. Escondido's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dráusio da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Amorim having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Gerber hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Escondido getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Sidney Barreto hit a great ball. Cauan de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Allan Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mutrapeba. Dráusio da Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruy Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Allan Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio da Cunha in the 95th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Dráusio da Cunha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mutrapeba's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio da Cunha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Escondido's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
