Cauã Aguiar started the match with the kick off. Matías Dionísio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matías Dionísio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matías Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 7th minute of the match Cafu Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Serginho Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Richard Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serginho Mendonça. Parecis EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richard Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Serginho Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauã Aguiar in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Richard Pernambucano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute Cauã Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauã Aguiar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Mendonça having to interfere. Kaká Hermes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noel Gaúcho during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Ocaucu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Parecis EC:s goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joélson Vale got free with Kaká Hermes in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diogo Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Kaká Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diogo Viana stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Cauã Aguiar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ocaucu and the Parecis EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ocaucu's Cauã Aguiar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joélson Vale in the 54th minute of play forced Ocaucu's goalkeeper Kaká Hermes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cauã Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ocaucu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Aguiar couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute Cauã Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serginho Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Bernardo Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute of the match Antônio Carlos Hoffmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaká Hermes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Diogo Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Pernambucano went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Ocaucu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
