The supporters of Weather Report Club booed when MANÉ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivo Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Rezende having to interfere. José Rezende made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Roman Okopny sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Weather Report Club's zone, Matheus de Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Fantini came out of the goal and Matheus de Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, Roman Okopny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Rezende. MANÉ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roman Okopny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. José Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Okopny, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Weather Report Club booed when MANÉ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeferson Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodoro Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Teles in the 26th minute of play. José Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Sommervold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 42 in the game by Rodriguinho Vander from a close distance when the talented José Rezende managed to make a qualified save. MANÉ FC's players were relieved. José Rezende made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Roman Okopny sent off a good shot on target. Ivo Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dedé Teles was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, MANÉ FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Sommervold came free, but José Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Sommervold in the 54th minute of the match. MANÉ FC's José Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Vander in the 58th minute of play. MANÉ FC's Sidney Fernandes was substituted for Matheus de Godoi. The corner ended in Rodriguinho Vander almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MANÉ FC's José Rezende did a great save. 63 minutes into the match, Roman Okopny notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of MANÉ FC's José Rezende. José Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivo Lopes in the 66th minute of play forced MANÉ FC's goalkeeper José Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Weather Report Club's Ivo Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roman Okopny scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Rodriguinho Vander's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but José Rezende was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Roman Okopny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roman Okopny in the 82nd minute of play forced MANÉ FC's goalkeeper José Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Okopny's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. When Axel Sommervold came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Weather Report Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Sommervold couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Weather Report Club's Rubens Donato got a free kick in the 88th minute. Dedé Teles struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Teodoro Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MANÉ FC. Dedé Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronaldo Silva took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Rezende. José Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Weather Report Club players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
